4 in 5 Americans support voter ID laws. The AP News reported on a study last fall rejecting the Democrat's claim that requiring an ID to vote suppresses minority voters. I am proud to co-author HF211, which requires VOTER ID in Minnesota. It also provides an ID at no cost to someone who does not have one. AND, most importantly, if someone needs to vote and still doesn't have an ID, they can cast a provisional ballot, which will be set aside until authorities can confirm the identity of the person voting.
