MN Cannabis Survey

HF600 is an omnibus bill creating new areas of government to regulate and legalize recreational cannabis. The use and possession of cannabis is illegal under federal law for any purpose, by way of the Controlled Substances Act of 1970. Under the CSA, cannabis is classified as a Schedule I substance, determined to have a high potential for abuse and no accepted medical use – thereby prohibiting even medical use of the drug. Medical cannabis is legal in 35 states and 4 US Territories. Until the federal government changes the CSA, it will be unlawful for any user of cannabis, medical or recreational, to purchase a gun or possess a permit to carry a firearm.

I welcome all to take this survey but ask that you at least put your city in the address form so I can separate constituents from non-constituents. Thank you for taking the time to provide this very important feedback!
